Dan Essien with a statistical review of the Jets week 5 matchup against the Cardinals
The Jets offense is terrible. This season, this offensive review segment takes a deeper look at how dysfunctional this offense is from week to week. We’ll analyze offensive efficiency, play-calling, and other data points. I’ll also be marking improvements or regressions against the season average for certain stats. Next up is the Jets week 5 matchup against Arizona.
Greg Armstrong With His Initial Reaction To The Jets Cutting Le’Veon Bell…
Just when you thought the Jets couldn’t get any more boring, any more lifeless, any more incompetent…they go ahead and release Le’Veon Bell.
Stephen Zantz asks the question on every New York Jets fan’s mind…
Typically, my weekly piece surrounds a dive into Sam Darnold’s performance. The TOJ readers deserve something better than a dive into a 35-year-old Joe Flacco. Considering Darnold is week to week, I decided to write a glowing review about this “brilliant offensive mind” of a head coach.
Matthew Marciano gives his thoughts on the New York Jets through five weeks…
The New York Jets once again proved yesterday, in a 30-10 blowout loss at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals, that they are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Even with a new quarterback under center, Super Bowl winner Joe Flacco, the Jets looked just as bad, proving once again that the Jets need to fire Adam Gase now, to give the Jets fan some solace for what has and is going to be an awful season.
Joe Caporoso with initial reaction to the New York Jets 0-5
The New York Jets had another Gase Game today.
They did not score a first half touchdown. They were down double digits at halftime. They scored one total touchdown when the game was in question and lost by multiple possessions. They are now 0-5 and one third of the way to a very achievable 0-16 record.

Michael Meegan with your ultimate 2020 New York Jets to Game Of Thrones comparison guide…
The Jets on the field in 2020 are unwatchable. They stink on defense, they stink on offense, their coaching is atrocious. Off the field they are way more entertaining as the dysfunction, backstabbing, and gross incompetence is really reminiscent of the HBO series Game of Thrones. Instead of torturing myself with thinking about why Adam Gase was not fired after the Denver game I decided to reimagine One Jets Drive as Westeros.
Stephen Russo vents it out to New York Jets ownership…
Dear Chris & Woody,
Congratulations. You’ve done it. You have beaten us. You’ve taken a fanbase that, despite all it has been through, would still remain hopeful through every year, every game, every training camp, and every offseason. We have waited patiently, we have continued to try to see the positive and clung to it with all we could, and you have successfully defeated us. Through years of missteps and bad management, mistakes and poor judgment, and an awful product on Sundays more often than not, and we still stayed by your side in hopes that this would turn around. We’ve been through it all.
Every year, March and April are more exciting than the fall because at least then we aren’t disappointed by the games, we’re actually excited about the potential for success. Yet somehow, every year, our hopes are ruined before Thanksgiving as the Jets continue to be out of the playoff conversation well before then. We have given you an insanely low bar to clear – just play competitive football. And somehow you have managed to fall incredibly short.
