The New York Jets got their first road win of the season by beating the Tennessee Titans, 16-11. It was a win that will bother many in the fan-base but teams aren’t going to lose on purpose, there is still two weeks left and the NFL Draft is crapshoot…so get over it.

TOJ New York Jets Link Dump – December 14th, 2014

Today’s game between the Jets and Titans may seem like a meaningless game between two 2-10 teams, but in reality, this game is actually very significant. What’s at stake? The potential direction of the upcoming NFL Draft. 

If the Jets lose (and I am in now way suggesting they should throw the game), they will be set up nicely to have a chance at either Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston, and maybe find a solution to this quarterback conundrum.

If the Jets win, they’ll put themselves in a position to draft either Amari Cooper or one of the top Tackles in the draft in Cedric Ogbuehi or Brandon Scherff.
