I’ll tell you one thing about this Jets’ team, despite all of the horrible miscues and mental mistakes, if there’s anything these last three weeks have shown us, it’s that this team can hang with anyone in football even while shooting themselves in the foot multiple times. This week has the makings of a must-win game because being 1-3 going into consecutive games against the Chargers, Broncos, and Pats, respectively. The Jets go into Lambeau to take on the Packers and their up-tempo offense after they went into Seattle and got shellacked by the reigning Super Bowl Champs in prime time. The Jets made NFL history last Sunday by becoming the most inconsistent team in league history as the first team to alternate wins and losses through their first 10 games. Although I think it’s still too early to be having serious playoff discussions (even saying the words makes me feel a bit uncomfortable) however, with the much-ballyhooed signing of former All-Pro Safety and Future Hall of Famer, Ed Reed, the Jets are making a statement to the league and to their fans that they are in fact making a run for the post season.
