Joe Caporoso with initial reaction to the New York Jets 0-4 start…
Fire the entire coaching staff.
The Jets lost handily to a team more decimated by injuries than them and to a third string quarterback, making his first career start…on the road…on a short week. If it wasn’t for the run of Sam Darnold’s life and a gimme pick six, the Jets lose this game by about 20 points. As currently constructed, 0-16 is on the table for this team. Their offense cannot score more than one touchdown per game. Their quarterback can’t crack a YPA of 6. Their defense can’t tackle or avoid getting personal fouls every series. They have the worst coaching staff in the NFL with a weak roster curated to their “strengths.”
If they don’t fire Adam Gase tomorrow, the Jets deserve every bit of the potential 0-16 embarrassment that may be on the way…
Dan Essien with a statistical review of the Jets week 3 matchup against Indianapolis
The Jets offense needs to be under the microscope. This season, this offensive review segment will take a deeper look at how functional this offense is from week to week. We’ll analyze offensive efficiency, play-calling, personnel, and other data points. This will also help us take a deeper look at where Sam Darnold succeeds and where he struggles. I’ll also be marking improvements or regressions against the season average for certain stats. Today let’s go through week 3 against the Colts.

Matt Marcinao with his thoughts and review of the New York Jets week 3 blowout loss
Covering the Jets in a weekly column after one of their games this season has been rather easy and could almost be a column where I cut and paste my thoughts from my previous column from the week before as almost nothing has changed from the week before. Here are some the same storylines that have come and go each and every week – Sam Darnold has regressed and does not look like a franchise quarterback in this league, the Jets defense has been a mess since the departure of Jamal Adams and have I mentioned before the Adam Gase should have never been hired as the Jets head coach and needs to be fired yesterday?
