Stephen Zantz Gives his Last Mock Draft of 2021!
It is officially draft week and this upcoming weekend can shape the future of the New York Jets for the next decade. The Jets are loaded with draft capital and Joe Douglas has repeatedly stated he plans to build through the draft. Let’s hope he can back up his promise with a strong second draft class. The following mock draft was generated through the PFF simulator with the settings geared heavier towards positional value. This also includes zero trades although I believe JD will be active on day 2 and 3 in the trade market.

Stephen Zantz offers his 3 round mock draft.
Draft month is officially here as we enter the first week of April. The Jets are going to be one of the more fascinating teams when the process kicks off on 4/29. The Jets have two 1st and 3rd round picks because of the Jamal Adams trade. This could allow Joe Douglas to wheel and deal to accumulate more capital depending on how the board falls. This mock draft is based on the Jets standing completely pat at each selection they currently own. It was created based on The Draft Network’s simulator and predictive big board.
Stephen Zantz provides his free agency predictions.
NFL Free Agency is just a few weeks away and the New York Jets are poised to be big players in 2021. The Jets are scheduled to have the 3rd most cap space assuming no other moves are made to clear additional cap. I put together 5 realistic signings based on the roster as currently constructed.
Stephen Zantz highlights several coaches who might join Robert Saleh’s staff.
It’s an exciting day for the Jets as they have hired Robert Saleh to be their new head coach. Jet fans never thought Saleh was seriously in play prior to the process due to his ties to Detroit and high demand from other teams. Be as it may, Joe Douglas did his magic and locked Saleh up for 5 years. Now that Saleh is in the building, I’ve highlighted a few potential staff additions.
The Jets are 3 weeks away from potentially (and very likely) becoming the 3rd team in NFL history to finish 0-16. Adam Gase is a major reason why this franchise has taken multiple steps backwards instead of forwards. I have highlighted all the events that led to this point and his inevitable firing on January 3rd or 4th.
Stephen Zantz with prop bets for Jets vs Chargers…
There isn’t a lot to take from Jet games anymore, but I wanted to highlight a few things that can make this game somewhat watchable. I also included some betting card picks to help Jet fans gain more interest.
Stephen Zantz on the ongoing struggles of New York Jets QB Sam Darnold…
The Jets continued their nightmare season on Sunday falling to the Bills 18-10. After this game, the fanbase is starting to have the question we did not expect or wanted to ask ourselves this season. Is Sam Darnold really going to be elsewhere in 2021?
Stephen Zantz looks at the New York Jets top HC candidates for 2021
The results on Sunday don’t matter for the New York Jets anymore. Since there is nothing to takeaway from this QB play or team in general, I came up with the way too early list for who should be the next head coach. Adam Gase is a dead man walking
Stephen Zantz asks the question on every New York Jets fan’s mind…
Typically, my weekly piece surrounds a dive into Sam Darnold’s performance. The TOJ readers deserve something better than a dive into a 35-year-old Joe Flacco. Considering Darnold is week to week, I decided to write a glowing review about this “brilliant offensive mind” of a head coach.
