Joe Caporoso with a Turn On The Jets 12 Pack of predictions for Jets vs. Broncos in week 5…

After a tough loss Monday night, the Denver Broncos will be looking to jump back into the win column with a big performance from rookie, Bradley Chubb. He’s the current favorite to win Defensive Rookie of the Year and will be leaned on heavily by the Broncos as the season pushes forward. Here are our predictions for Sunday:

– Sam Darnold will throw for 210 yards, 2 touchdowns and have zero turnovers (yes, I said zero turnovers!). He will have a YPA of 7.0 and be sacked three times, while completing 59% of his passes. This will be his second best game of the season, besides Detroit thus far.

– Case Keenum will throw for 205 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 turnovers. He will rush for 20 yards and be sacked twice. Keenum will miss a few opportunities down the field to take advantage of the Jets secondary.

– Royce Freeman and Philip Lindsay will combine for 130 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. Lindsay will also have 40 yards receiving out of the backfield, as the Jets linebackers struggle to track him.

– Bilal Powell will lead the Jets running backs in carries, overall offensive touches and yards, finishing with 110 total yards and his second touchdown of the season. Isaiah Crowell will rush for 35 yards or less and Trenton Cannon will see his first offensive work since week 1.

– Emmanuel Sanders will lead Denver in receptions and yards. He will also score a touchdown. Courtland Sutton will have one catch over 30 yards against the Jets secondary. Demaryius Thomas will have a quiet game.

– Quincy Enunwa will pace the Jets with 6 receptions for 80 yards. Robby Anderson will have 55 yards receiving and his second touchdown of the season. Jermaine Kearse will continue to play over Terrelle Pryor, who will be cut by the team within the next few weeks.

–  Chris Herndon will have 2 receptions and play at least 30 reps as Neal Sterling remains out. Jordan Leggett and Eric Tomlinson will see minor hits to their playing time from the past few weeks.

– Avery Williamson will record another sack. Jamal Adams will be involved in forcing a turnover. Henry Anderson will record another half sack, continuing to be the team’s leading pass rusher.

– Andre Roberts will rip off a big punt return that directly sets up Jets points. Jason Myers will be perfect on all his kicks. The Jets will win the overall special teams battle in this game.

– Morris Claiborne will be knocked out again with an injury and we’ll see more Daryl Roberts on the outside for the Jets as a fill in. The Jets will also give Parry Nickerson some defensive reps this week.

– The Jets inactive list: Charone Peake, Foley Fatukasi, Trumaine Johnson, Dakota Dozier, Juston Burris, Neal Sterling, JJ Wilcox.

– The Jets will take advantage of Denver flying cross country on a short week after a tough divisional loss to jump out to a fast start and manage to hold on for a 23-20 win, covering the 2.5 point spread. This will not be a pretty win but it will keep their season afloat for another week.

Against The Spread: 1-3
