Turn On The Jets 12 Pack, Week 4 Edition – Jets vs. Jaguars

Joe Caporoso with a Turn On The Jets 12 Pack of Predictions for Jets vs. Jaguars in week 4…

Welcome back to another edition of the Turn On The Jets 12 Pack. Make sure to check out our store at The Loyalist!

1 – Sam Darnold will improve on his performance against Cleveland but not play to the level he did against Detroit, finishing with 215 yards passing, 1 touchdown and 1 turnover. He will rush for 20 yards and be sacked twice, complete 63% of his passes and have a YPA of 7.2.

2 – Blake Bortes will rush for 45 yards and a touchdown, throw for 190 yards and have one interception. The Jets will do a good job of containing Jacksonville’s passing game and sack Bortles twice, including Leonard Williams first sack of the season.

3 – Leonard Fournette and TJ Yeldon will combine for 110 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Jets will struggle slowing down the run, particularly in the fourth quarter.

4 – Bilal Powell will lead all Jets backs in touches, finishing with 100 total offensive yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Crowell will have a quiet game, finishing with less than 35 yards rushing.

5 – The Jets will force feed Robby Anderson early in the game and he will finish with at least 6 targets, 4 receptions and over 50 yards. Quincy Enunwa will still lead the team in receptions, though. Terrelle Pryor will not have a big role in the game plan as he begins losing playing time to Jermaine Kearse. Pryor may not be long for this world as a Jets receiver…

6 – Austin Seferian-Jenkins will have 3 catches for 25 yards. Chris Herndon will have 3 catches for 30 yards along with another drop. Neal Sterling will return next week and take his reps back.

7 – Keelan Cole will lead Jacksonville in receptions and yards. He will get the best of Trumaine Johnson on at least one play down the field, as Johnson’s mediocre start to the season continues.

8 – The Jets will coach more aggressively than they have in the previous few weeks, going for it on 4th down at least once and breaking out a trick play.

9 – Jamal Adams will have 6 tackles, 2 TFLs, 0.5 sacks and 1 pass defensed. Marcus Maye will struggle a bit in his return to the lineup but gradually regain his early 2017 season form over the next few weeks.

10 – Andre Roberts will have at least one punt return over 15 yards. Jason Myers will make all his kicks for the Jets. The Jets will have a gaffe in kick coverage, setting up Jacksonville points.

11 – The inactive list: Charone Peake, Neal Sterling, Juston Burris, Foley Fatukasi, Dakota Dozier, Terrence Brooks, Jeremiah Attaochu. After Rashard Robinson is activated next week, the Jets will release Burris.

12 – The Jets will cover but lose a low scoring game. This will be competitive into the 4th quarter but Jacksonville will ultimately prevail 20-13.

Against The Spread: 1-2

W/L: 0-3 (!)
