NFL Mock Draft Round Up (For the Jets)

As for me? I will have my final mock for the first round and the Jets 6 picks next Thursday morning but if I had to put percentages out 8 days before the NFL Draft, I’d go:

  • Mayfield – 45%
  • Rosen – 40%
  • Allen – 10%
  • Darnold – 5%

Suspect Looking Snack At My Local Deli Of The Week

Hot and spicy fried pork skins from this very random brand feels like the type of snack that is bought in confused haste and will cut you down at your knees a few hours later. I did not check the ingredient list on this but I can’t imagine there is anything natural in there. This could very well be leftover spicy Cheetos dust sprinkled on extra burnt dough from the pretzel factory.

What Do I Watch Now?

Atlanta, Teddy Perkins – We’ve mentioned Atlanta before in this article but this episode merited a second mention. Go watch this show. Go watch this episode. Go be shocked that Donald Glover played Teddy Perkins and spend some time trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

Who Do I Read Now?

World Of Trouble, Ben Winters – The last time I will write about this trilogy, I promise! But the final book of The Last Policeman trilogy is even better than the first two. Go grab these three for your next vacation and I promise you’ll finish them all by the time you are back.

Not what I think will happen but I think should happen if the top ten teams were thinking logically (no trades here for simplicity’s sake)

  1. Cleveland – Josh Rosen
  2. Giants – Sam Darnold
  3. Jets – Baker Mayfield
  4. Cleveland – Bradley Chubb
  5. Denver – Lamar Jackson
  6. Indianpolis – Quenton Nelson
  7. Tampa Bay – Denzel Ward
  8. Chicago -Josh Jackson
  9. San Francisco – Roquan Smith
  10. Oakland – Mike McGlinchey
