PRE-SEASON PREDICTIONS 

1 – The lines for the remaining Jets games: Carolina (-5.5), Kansas City (-7), Denver (-3), New Orleans (-9), Jets (-2.5), New England (-9.5).

2 – Jamal Adams will finish the year with 75 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 8 TFLs, 6 PDs, 1 INT and 1 FF. He will allow at least 2 more receiving touchdowns and not get any votes for Defensive Rookie of the Year. Marcus Maye will finish with 78 tackles, 4 INTs, 5 PDs, and 2 FFs.

3 – Elijah McGuire will finish his rookie year with 600 total yards of offense, 20 receptions and 3 total touchdowns. Bilal Powell will finish as the team’s leading rusher by a substantial margin and end the year with 5 total touchdowns.

4 – The Jets will switch returners at least one more time this season (JoJo Natson will not be on the team through week 17). Jeremy Kerley will be kept on the active roster and play in the final three games.

5 – Josh McCown will start at least 4 more games for the Jets this season, barring injury. If another quarterback starts this year, it will be Bryce Petty not Christian Hackenberg. McCown will finish with at least 13 interceptions.

6 – The Jets will lose by double digits to New Orleans and New England and finish with a 1-7 record on the road (also narrowly losing to Denver).

7 – Robby Anderson will finish with 950 yards receiving and 8 touchdowns on the season. Jermaine Kearse will finish with 625 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns on the season. Austin Seferian-Jenkins will finish with over 60 receptions and 5 touchdowns on the season.

8 – Muhammad Wilkerson and Leonard Williams will both finish with less than 5 sacks each. Demario Davis will end the season as the team’s sack leader with 5.5. Jordan Jenkins will finish the season with 4.5 sacks.

9 – No Jets running back will finish with over 750 yards rushing. Matt Forte will miss at least two more games due to injury.

10 – Chad Hansen will finish the season with more receptions and touchdowns than ArDarius Stewart.

11 – Morris Claiborne will miss at least 1 more game due to injury. Rashard Robinson will play at least 75 defensive snaps by the end of the season. Derrick Jones will not be active in any more games this year.

12 – The Jets will go 1-5 after the bye week, with their lone win coming against either San Diego or Kansas City. They will finish 5-11 and end up picking somewhere between 6th and 10th. Neither Todd Bowles or Mike Maccagnan will be fired.
