TOJ New York Jets Link Dump – September 21st, 2014

Sunday AM link from Joe Malfa for your Jet-Less day of football…

– Here is a preview for the Monday night showdown with the Chicago Bears. (ESPN)

– Your NFL viewing schedule for today (GGN)

– Why haven’t you subbed yet?!? Tickets being given away to NYJ/DET this week…

– Santonio Holmes will make his return to the Meadowlands on Monday night after a four-year roller coaster ride with Gang Green. His injury-plagued time as a Jet saw the highs of game-winning catches and the lows of being regarded as a “cancer” in the locker room. It will be interesting to see what kind of reception he gets and whether or not he does the airplane celebration if he finds the end zone. (ESPN)

-T he Jets upgraded from Santonio Holmes to Eric Decker in the offseason, but Decker may not be on the field Monday due to a hamstring injury. If so, look for a heavy dose of Ivory and Johnson. (ESPN)

– Normally the articles that get posted in the link dumps are focused on the Jets, but here is an article from Chicago on the five keys to the Bears winning the game. (CN)

– Here are nine things to know about tomorrow’s game. (NYJ)

– The Jets have two tackling machines in the middle of the defense in David Harris and Demario Davis. Davis is getting the majority of the attention as he’s emerging as a star player and vocal leader, but Harris remains consistently good. (NYP/Yahoo)
