Dalbin Osorio with ten players the New York Jets could target on day two of the NFL Draft…

The work is not done yet, as the New York Jets now look to continue to add talent in the second day of the draft. The team currently only has one pick today (pick 72), but Jets General Manager Mike Maccagnan has not been averse to moving around the draft. Before getting started here, make sure you read our initial reaction on the Jets selecting franchise QB Sam Darnold. This BPA will only highlight players that fit needs for the Jets, and you’ll see my Big Board ranking in parenthesis.

NFL Draft 2018 – Later Round High Risk, High Reward Prospects

Greg Armstrong with a look at some high risk, high reward prospects for the New York Jets in the 2018 NFL Draft

After trading away their two second round picks to move up from the sixth to the third overall pick, the Jets won’t be picking again until the third round. There is still great value to be had depending on how the board breaks in the later rounds but there are a select few prospects that can be considered high risk, high reward players. Whether it’s been injuries, off the field issues, behavioral issues or what have you, these guys could fall and end up being steals for the Jets if they choose to pick them.  (more…)

The New York Jets selected USC quarterback Sam Darnold with the third overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, landing arguably the best signal caller in this class. Despite an onslaught of Baker Mayfield/Josh Rosen pre-draft chatter, it was a surprise that Darnold was available and it isn’t shocking the Jets pulled the trigger on him . NFL Draft 2018 – Final First Round Mock and New York Jets 7 Rounds (Dalbin Osorio)

Dalbin Osorio with his final first round mock and New York Jets seven round mock for the 2018 NFL Draft…

We have finally made it, to the most important draft for the New York Jets in the last decade. The Jets are in position, with the second part of one of the better two year drafts at Quarterback, to select their franchise QB. All of the talent the Jets have added this offseason won’t matter if they don’t pick the right QB. Other teams are angling for talent as well, so here’s my final first round mock with a couple of trades thrown in for good measure…
