Initial Reaction – New York Jets Resemble NFL Team…But Still Lose

Joe Caporoso on the New York Jets 30-24 overtime loss to the Minnesota Vikings

The New York Jets found another way to lose, falling 30-24 in overtime to the Minnesota Vikings. Burned again on the blitz and by poor tackling, Jarius Wright took a screen pass 87 yards for the game winning touchdown. They are now 2-11 and looking very much like a team who will be picking in the top 5 this May. Today wasn’t an awful effort but turnovers, red zone failures and defensive breakdowns did the Jets in once again.
