2018 New York Jets Fantasy Preview — Wide Receivers

Joe Malfa breaks down the New York Jets wide receivers from a fantasy football perspective…

The Jets have failed to make the playoffs since 2010. I have no idea whether or not that streak will end this season, but what I do know is they have some players who can help you make your fantasy football playoffs this season (and in the years to come). Over the next four weeks, I will be taking a position-by-position look at this Jets roster from a fantasy football perspective. The wide receivers get their turn in the spotlight today.

Jets Brasil – A Posiciao De Te_Uma IndefIinicao

Arthur Irwin for Jets Brasil on the team’s search for a starting tight end in 2018…

New York Jets – Green & White “Scrimmage” Recap

Clayton Smarslok with a recap and review of the New York Jets Green and White scrimmage…

The Jets held their annual Green and White scrimmage last night at Rutgers University for the first time. And let me tell you, the fans did not disappoint, nearly filling out the bottom section. It may not have been an actual scrimmage per se but after some positional drills they did extend the 11 on 11 drills. Here we were able to get a taste of what the depth chart may look like for their first preseason game next Friday. There were plenty of players that produced for last night, but who were the guys that shined the most?

Clayton Smarslok breaks down expectations for Sam Darnold in his first summer as a New York Jets quarterback…

Sam Darnold enters training camp with all eyes on him, both locally and nationally. Only one thing… Darnold has JUST signed his contract. This has caused him to miss all three practices and every meeting in training camp thus far, which in turn will bring even more attention to Darnold and his progress that will be watched even more closely…

New York Jets – Sam Darnold Signs Contract, Ends Holdout

Joe Caporoso with initial reaction to Sam Darnold signing his rookie contract for the New York Jets

New York Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold ended his brief holdout today, agreeing to terms on a four year, 30.25 million dollar contract with 20 million guaranteed. The contract will include the offset language the New York Jets had been insistent on. All in, Darnold will only have missed three (maybe four, if he is out today) total practices, including only one in full equipment. There is no reason to think he still not the favorite to start week 1
