Greg Armstrong With A Post Week 17 Mock Draft…
The New York Jets season has ended and for the ninth straight season, there will be no playoffs. There is a massive amount of work to be done in the offseason. Barring anything insane happening, Adam Gase will be back for 2020. The roster needs a major overhaul at several key positions but there also needs to be depth added. The Jets have long been one injury away from starting practice squad level players. I took a stab at a post Week 17 mock to see if we can add some pieces that hopefully can push this team into the playoff hunt. (Mock draft done with The Draft Network mock draft machine).
Michael Meegan with a mock for the New York Jets on day one/two of the 2020 NFL Draft…
While the NFL Draft order is constantly changing, this much is certain, the Jets will have four picks within the top 75 picks, thanks to their poor on field performance and Joe Douglas fleecing the Giants for a 3rd round pick in exchange for Leonard Williams.
Greg Armstrong with a seven round mock draft for the New York Jets
We’re heading into the last quarter of the season with the Jets have more holes to fill on the roster than stable positions. It’s been a long tumultuous season filled with some ups but mostly downs. Joe Douglas has his work cut out for him and he needs to hit on a high rate of players not only in free agency, but complementing a good free agency period with a very good draft. I took a stab at filling some needs for the 2020 Jets. (draft done with TDN Mock Simulator with their TDN predictive board). (more…)
Greg Armstrong With A Quarter Season Mock For The New York Jets…
We’re a quarter of the way through the Jets season (it goes by faster every year) and the needs for the team have glaringly come to light. It’s never too early, especially covering this team, for a mock draft. So here’s a quarter season mock draft addressing some of those needs. (Done with TheDraftNetwork.com Mock Draft Machine) (more…)
Clayton Smarslok with his final full first round 2019 NFL mock draft
Draft Day is finally upon us. It’s been a long road, especially for us Jets fans, but it’s bittersweet that it’s coming to an end. After doing a few different versions over the last few months I thought it would be best to finish it how it started, full first round, no trades allowed. Trades are impossible to predict and because the draft is hard to predict as well, there’s no need to make it more difficult.
In the past what I have done was do a mixture of what I would do and what I thought would happen but not this time around. There are so many different rumors out there around the league so this is my chance to distinguish what I think is real and what is fake. With that being said, this is what I think is going to happen and absolutely not what I would do for all 32 selections.
Stephen Russo rounds up all the day before NFL Draft mock picks for the New York Jets
Is Arizona drafting Kyler Murray number one overall? Does San Francisco truly value Quinnen Williams over Nick Bosa? Is the smoke around the Jets and Ed Oliver real? We have reached that time of year (which is pretty much year-round at this point) where you can’t believe a single word from any “source” regarding what will happen on Thursday night in Nashville at the 2019 NFL Draft. The rumor mill is in full swing. Smoke screens are everywhere. Per Matt Miller of Bleacher Report, who tweeted out that his trusted source said “No one f**king knows anything right now. It’s going to be an interesting Thursday night.”
Simply put: Trust. No. One.
Joe Caporoso with his final seven round mock for the New York Jets and predictions for what Mike Maccagnan will do…
We have finally reached the week of the 2019 NFL Draft. For the 1.0 version of my seven round New York Jets mock draft click here.
For the below article, we are going to have TWO mock drafts, first my final mock of what I’d *like* for the Jets to do and second what I predict Mike Maccagnan will do.
Make sure to check out yesterday’s mailbag podcast on the NFL Draft and to check back tomorrow for our final podcast preview and then Thursday for our annual round one guide…
Joe Caporoso with a seven round mock draft for the New York Jets (1.0)
With April 1st here, we are deep in Mock Draft SZN. For yours truly, I am going to do a 1.0 and 2.0 version for all of the New York Jets picks and a full first round mock. The 2.0 version of this mock and the full first round mock will both drop shortly before the big night. I will also do a 1.0 version of my predictions for what I believe the Jets front office will do, which will differ from this mock draft (which is my personal preference). Finally, we’ll have our annual round one guide the day of the NFL Draft. Send your complaints to the moon (or to Twitter).
Clayton Smarslok with a full two round mock for the 2019 NFL Draft
As a Jets fan, the season could have ended in a better way than it did. It wasn’t ideal but after seeing the Patriots win five previous titles, I have learned to live with it and move on from it and that’s exactly what I am doing here. It is officially draft season with the 2018-19 football season completely behind us. With the season coming to an end, it seems like the perfect time to come out with my first two round mock draft of the year.
In this edition it was a mixture of what should happen and predictions of what will happen on the last weekend of April. For instance, because of Jeffery Simmons’ issues in the past, he will not be submitted into this mock draft or any others in the future, even though he will likely find his way into the first round. This one’s for you Jets fans, hope you like it!
Greg Armstrong With His Second 7 Round Offseason Jets Mock…
It’s Friday! Here’s my second 7 round offseason Jets mock with some trades down. As always, this was done with the Fanspeak mock draft simulator so some of the available players didn’t quite fit the rounds they are ultimately going to be taken in but I tried to make it as realistic as possible. If you have any issues, you can direct your hate to me on Twitter.
