NFL Draft 2020 – New York Jets Day Two Preview

Dalbin Osorio with a day two preview for the New York Jets in the 2020 NFL Draft

With the first round in the books, and the Jets filling their massive hole at left tackle with a massive man in Mekhi Becton, all eyes turn to day two and three. This is where Joe Douglas can really make the moves he needs to try and end an almost decade-length playoff drought. The Jets enter day 2 with the following needs unfilled: Wide Receiver, EDGE, and Cornerback. They could, also, fortify their Interior Offensive Line group by taking a guard or adding a Center and moving newly-signed Center Connor McGovern to guard. Here’s 4 long-form thoughts that can serve as a guide for Day 2, and then a day 2 mock draft for Gang Green.

NFL Draft 2020 – Edge Rusher Rankings & Grade Your Mock!

Another day, another #PickSix! This time, we have landed on the tarmac for Draft Week. Team #TOJ continues our draft coverage with the top six Edge Rushers in the 2020 NFL Draft. The New York Jets got nothing from Henry Anderson, and their best edge rusher was Jordan Jenkins. That is a sad state of affairs, and quiet as kept Edge is the position the Jets need to address right after OT and WR.

Like a high throw from Bucs QB Tom Brady to WWE 24/7 Champion Rob Gronkowski that goes off his hands, lets return this pick six.

We, also, continue our #GradeYourMock series where Team TOJ grades a fan-submitted mock.

New York Jets – The Seven Round Mock Draft (JC, 2.0)

Joe Caporoso with the 2.0 version of his seven round mock for the New York Jets

We made it to draft week…so what is another mock?

In the past, I have done two versions of seven round mock drafts for the New York Jets because my guess at what Mike Maccagnan would and what I would personally do would be completely divergent. We are going with one version this year, which is a hybrid of what I think may happen and what I’d like to see happen. Here is my 1.0 version from last week…

NFL Draft 2020 – Center/Defensive Line Rankings & Grade Your Mock!

Dalbin Osorio ranks the top centers and defensive linemen in the NFL Draft and we grade your mock!

Another day, another #PickSix, and today you get two with a heavy dosing of (to quote Big E of the New Day) #ManMeat! This time, Team #TOJ continues our draft coverage with the top six Centers and Interior Defensive Linemen in the 2020 NFL Draft. The New York Jets signed an above average Center in free agency, but that Center can also play guard so you could see them take a whack at adding either a starting-caliber C that can then allow them to move Connor McGovern to guard. Make no mistake, this is a very good Center class with 8 Centers grading out to potential long-term starters in my opinion.

In regards to interior defensive linemen, no pick that the Jets possess should be used on an interior defensive lineman. Seriously, they are all the way good on that position group. However, on the off-chance that Joe Douglas has allowed Mike Maccagnan to run the draft, its important we familiarize ourselves with some names.

Like a newly-retired Eli Manning errant throw, lets return this pick six.

We, also, continue our #GradeYourMock series where Team TOJ grades a fan-submitted mock.

NFL Draft 2020 – Wide Receiver Rankings & Grade Your Mock

Dalbin Osorio ranks the top wide receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft and we grade your mock!

With the NFL Draft now 9 nights away, Team #TOJ continues our draft coverage. Today, we give you another #PickSix, with the top 6 WRs in the 2020 NFL Draft. When you look at wide receiver corps throughout the NFL, you can objectively argue that the Jets have a bottom 5 group in the league as it is currently constructed. It’s better than the Raiders, Washington, Giants, Ravens, 49ers, and that might really be it. Three of those teams have better Tight Ends than the Jets currently employ, so that levels the field of pass catchers overall. The Jets not only need a replacement for Robby Anderson’s 50+ catches and 770+ yards, but they need depth as well because you have no idea what you’re getting from Quincy Enunwa.

Like new Bucs QB Tom Brady’s last pass in a Patriots uniform, lets take this pick six all the way.

NFL Draft 2020 – Top Quarterbacks, Top Running Backs & Grade Your Mock

Dalbin Osorio ranks the top six quarterbacks and top six running backs in the 2020 NFL Draft and grades out your mock draft…

With the NFL Draft 10 nights away, Team #TOJ is about to kick this thing into high gear with more mock drafts and analysis than you can count. Today, we begin with the top 6 QBs and top 6 RBs in the 2020 NFL Draft. While the Jets would be wise to add a young arm to groom behind Sam Darnold, we don’t expect them to be active in the QB market. However, at RB with Leveon Bell entering what is being assumed is the last year of his deal and no backup on the roster I’d expect that position to be addressed in the draft.
