Michael Meegan breaks down the Seattle Seahawks, the New York Jets week 14 opponent
The Jets will see some familiar faces when they face off with the Seattle Seahawks in week 14. Former Jets HC Pete Carroll has gone to great success with Seattle after his one year with the Jets in 1994 and a new wrinkle was added to this game after Jamal Adams was traded to Seattle after a messy exit from New York in July. With Russel Wilson the Seahawks will always be a tough out and the Jets will have their hands full this December.
Michael Meegan with a breakdown of the Las Vegas Raiders, the New York Jets week 13 opponent…
The Raiders left Oakland for the bright lights of Las Vegas. The Raiders got off to a hot start in 2019 but faltered to a 1-5 finish to go 7-9. With another loaded draft class, the Raiders are looking to break through and look again like the 2016 Raiders which looked like a Super Bowl contender. The Raiders come back to Metlife for a December showdown Week 13 with the Jets looking to get revenge for the spanking the Jets put on them last year.
Michael Meegan continues his look at the New York Jets 2020 opponents, with a breakdown of the Miami Dolphins
A team that was accused of tanking in the first half the Miami Dolphins righted the ship and finished the season 5-4. They added numerous big named free agents and had 5 top 60 picks to help fill out a roster that has undergone massive turnover since they hired Brian Flores in 2019. The Jets and Dolphins have the wonkiest schedule you will ever see when they face each other as they play successive games in Weeks 10 and 12 with each team having their Week 11 Bye in-between.
Michael Meegan breaks down the New York Jets week 8 opponent, the New England Patriots
The Evil Empire will look different for the first time in 20 years as Tom Brady waved farewell to the Patriots this past March for sunny Tampa Bay. While many have thought this would mark the end of the Patriots dynasty it would be foolish to count out Bill Belichick so easily. With a Monday Night football replay of the dreaded “Ghost Game” at home and a season finale Week 17 at Gillette the Jets should by no means be underestimating the Patriots in 2020.
Michael Meegan looks at the New York Jets week 7 opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl Champions after their comeback win against the 49ers. They return 20 of the 22 starters from that team in 2020 and Week 8 the Jets go down to Arrowhead to play the Chiefs.
Michael Meegan previews the New York Jets week 6 opponent, the Los Angeles Chargers…
The Los Angeles Chargers will go into 2020 without Phillip Rivers as the starter for the first time in over 15 years. While they underachieved in 2019 the Chargers roster is still one that is loaded with talent. Week 6 the Jets make their first of 3 west coast trips this year to play the Chargers in LA.

Michael Meegan breaks down the New York Jets week 5 opponent, the Arizona Cardinals
In 2019 the Arizona Cardinals got bold and replaced first year HC Steve Wilks and 2018 top ten pick Josh Rosen with former college head coach Kliff Kingsbury and Heisman trophy winner Kyler Murray.
While Arizona was deemed dysfunctional for hiring a college coach with a career losing record and going all in on a QB who is shorter than six feet, it turned out to be a masterstroke. Murray won Offensive Rookie of the Year and Kingsbury with limited personnel helped orchestrate the second best rushing attack in the NFL. In 2020 Arizona looked poised to build on the momentum built with Kingsbury and Murray in 2019 and looked to be one of the most exciting offenses going forward as they make their way to MetLife in week 5.
Michael Meegan with a closer look at the New York Jets week 4 opponent, the Denver Broncos
Like the New York Jets the Denver Broncos finished the 2019 season strong and are hoping some of that momentum carries over into 2020. Rookie Drew Lock started the final 5 games and the Broncos went 4-1 over that span as Lock is primed to be the guy they have been looking for since Peyton Manning retired. The Broncos come to Metlife on a short week as the two teams square off Week 4 on Thursday night football.
Michael Meegan looks at the New York Jets week 3 opponent, the Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts looked poise to join the AFC elite going into the 2019 season. They were however rocked with the sudden news of QB Andrew Luck’s retirement just before the season and never recovered. They enlisted the help of aging veteran QB Phillip Rivers to see if he has one last ride in him for 2020. In Week 3 the Jets go to Indy as their brutal start to the season continues…
