New York Jets 7 Round Mock Draft (V. 4)

Greg Armstrong With His New York Jets ’19 Seven Round Mock, Version 4…

The Jets won a game! While winning at this point of the season is pointless because of draft position, seeing Sam Darnold lead a fourth quarter comeback like that is much better than gaining the one or two draft positions with a loss. The Jets dropped to fifth (previously third) in the draft order which opens up a whole bunch of possibilities. Here’s my fourth version of a Jets seven round mock done on Fanspeak. (more…)

New York Jets Week 14 Report Card

Greg Armstrong With His Week 14 Jets Report Card…

At this point in the season, almost all wins mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. All they do is anger the fanbase come April when the draft position isn’t as good as it could have been. Sunday was different, however. On Sunday, the Jets saw their franchise QB lead two touchdown drives to win the game. A win that meant more in the grand scheme of things than really any December win can for a 3-9 football team.  (more…)

New York Jets Seven Round Mock Draft (V.3)

Greg Armstrong With version three of his seven round New York Jets Mock

Mock SZN is in full swing baby! I saw a mock today by an unnamed site that had the Jets take WR N’Keal Harry third overall so let’s all drink up and cheers to the fact that never in a million years will I mock a receiver that early to this time! As a reminder, this was done on Fanspeaks model. (more…)

New York Jets Week 13 Report Card

Greg Armstrong With His Week 13 Report Card For The New York Jets

Another week, another loss for this Jets team. On one hand, these losses seem to get worse and worse each week. On the other hand, the tank is full speed ahead with zero stops in sight. Here are some grades for Week 13. (more…)

New York Jets Seven Round Mock Draft (V. 2)

Greg Armstrong With His Second Version Of A New York Jets Seven Round Mock Draft

It’s sad that we’re not even to December yet and the draft talk is similar to that of what it is in March. The Jets have been abysmal this season but that might pay dividends with a top five pick in April. Nonetheless, I’m here with another Jets seven round mock done using the Fanspeak model.  (more…)

New York Jets Week 12 Report Card

Greg Armstrong with his New York Jets Week 12 Report Card

It was another lackluster Sunday for the Jets as we trudge through the mud towards the end of the season. The Jets kept it competitive in the first half but ultimately melted down in the second half and losing to the Patriots 27-13. Here’s my report card for Week 12. (more…)

New York Jets 7 Round Mock (V. 1)

Greg Armstrong with his first Jets mock draft of the year…

The Jets are out of the playoff race and I simply could not stop myself from dipping my pen into the mock draft game. This is done through Fanspeaks model and remember, it’s only November. Also remember, the Fanspeak model makes the picks for the CPU teams. Continue reading “New York Jets 7 Round Mock (V. 1)”

New York Jets Post Bye Week Wish List

Greg Armstrong with his New York Jets Post Bye Week Wish List…

We have officially entered the holiday season. We feverishly sift through Black Friday deals and put together lists for what we want for the holidays. I’m putting together a wish list for what I want to see from the Jets as we put the bye week behind us and push through the home stretch of the season.  (more…)

New York Jets Week 8 Report Card

Greg Armstrong with his New York Jets Week 8 Report Card…

The Jets put together their second lifeless performance of the year Sunday in Chicago, losing 24-10 to the Bears in a game where the Jets appeared to have no motivation to win. Dumb pre snap penalties, not being able to get a stop when needed and a conservative game plan doomed this team from the jump. Here is my Week 8 report card.  Continue reading “New York Jets Week 8 Report Card”

New York Jets Week 7 Report Card

Greg Armstrong with his New York Jets Week 7 report card…

It was miserable, windy day at MetLife Stadium on Sunday and it was miserable performance from Sam Darnold and co.  They were plagued by miscues and undisciplined football, similar to that of the past four years under Todd Bowles. Here’s my Week 7 report card. (more…)
