NFL Draft – 2018 QB Prospect Tracker: Week 10

Joe Malfa with his weekly tracker and rankings of the top college quarterbacks…

These quarterback trackers have been written under the impression the Jets would be a lock for a top-five pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. After another blown lead against the Falcons, the Jets are 3-5 and would have a top-10 pick if the season ended today.

Wherever they end up — whether it is top-five or top-10 — they will still have a shot at a franchise quarterback in a QB-heavy draft class, so Joe Malfa kept a close eye on the performances of college’s top quarterback prospects this week as he has throughout the season and will for the rest of the season.

Here are the rankings ahead of Week 10:

Turn On The Jets Film Room – Oday Aboushi: Guard or Tackle?

Mike Nolan steps into the TOJ Film Room to take a look at Rookie OL Oday Aboushi to determine where he might fit in the Jets offense.

If you search the internet for anything about Oday Aboushi, you will find a lot more hits than the typical 5th round pick. Most of the articles are about how he is one of the first Palestinian-Americans to play in the NFL.  The more I read about Oday Aboushi the more impressed I am with him as a person. In fact, he was once honored at the US State Department by Hillary Clinton for being an inspirational Muslim athlete. Now that the dust has settled in the aftermath of the NFL Draft and Jets fans have learned a little bit about who Oday Aboushi is as a person, it is time to figure out who he is as a player and where he might be able to fit in the Jets’ offense.

A Closer Look at Sheldon Richardson and the Jets Defense

Mike Nolan takes a deeper look at New York Jets draft pick Sheldon Richardson to see where he fits in Rex Ryan’s defense

The Jets’ second first round pick last night left a lot of people scratching their heads.  The concern wasn’t focused on Sheldon Richardson’s talent, but focused on the fact that they selected a defensive lineman in the first round for the third straight year despite more urgent needs at other positions. No matter what you think about the selection, it’s important to take a look at what Richardson could bring to the Jets defense before completely passing judgment. NFL Draft 2013 – Turn On The Jets Mike Nolan Mock Draft 1.0

Turn On The Jets Draft Writer Mike Nolan submits his predictions for the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft

With the first round of the NFL Draft only 9 days away, it is time to ramp up the mock drafts. This version does not account for trades, which will happen. Some teams in the top half that I can see making trades on draft day are Cleveland, Miami, and San Diego. There will be QBs taken in the 1st round, just not with any of the current picks, as a team like Arizona or Buffalo could trade into the mid to bottom first round to get a QB.

Be sure to give a follow on twitter and let us know where you agree or disagree. Click the links over player’s names if you want to read TOJ’s in-depth analysis on that player –
