Initial Reaction – Tank Kings: Jets Choke Away Huge Lead For 6th Straight Loss

The New York Jets lost their sixth straight game of the season today to the Tennessee Titans 26-22. Despite running out to a 13-0 lead, their defense wilted in the second half and allowed a game winning touchdown in the final minute. Offensively they were completely inept as their only touchdown came on a pick six from Trumaine Johnson in the first quarter. They settled for five field goals and have now scored a grand total of six offensive touchdowns in their past 7 games…a staggeringly low number. Todd Bowles and Mike Maccagnan have now dropped to 23-37 overall during their four seasons in New York and have officially clinched being under .500 for the third year in a row.
