“Play Like A Jet” presents episode #23 of your weekly NY Jets debate show “What’s Your Point?” with Paulie Bruzesse  vs Tyson Rauch This week the guys do battle on four Jets coaching topics:

  1. Could the Jets have been a .500 team or better in 2018 if Todd Bowles had not been the head coach?
  2. If he was willing to take the job, would it make sense to give Jim Harbaugh full organizational control?
  3. Should the Jets make sure to hire somebody with prior head coaching experience?
  4.  What is riskier: Hiring a NFL coordinator with no head coaching experience or a college head coach with no NFL experience?

You will hear the answers to these topics debated with special guest Chris Walker – President of Retaliate 1st Marketing – as the judge, jury, and executioner!

Initial Reaction – Darnold Thrives, Tank Rolls, Jets Lose Again

Joe Caporoso with initial reaction to

Prior to the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers game, most sensible fans would have asked for a great Sam Darnold game in a shootout loss to the Green Bay Packers. Well, Merry Christmas! Darnold played the game of his career for the second week in a row and the Jets blew a 14 point lead in a 44-38 overtime loss. The Jets dropped to 4-11, the third straight year of losing at least 11 games with Mike Maccagnan and Todd Bowles leading the way and are still in contention for the first overall pick in the NFL Draft. For historical context, Maccagnan and Bowles have the lowest winning percentage of any GM/HC combo in franchise history who have been employed for more than two years.
