Initial Reaction – New York Jets Trade Jamal Adams

Dalbin Osorio with initial reaction to the New York Jets trading Jamal Adams

Yesterday was really the last straw, huh? You could kind of see the writing on the wall coming with Jamal Adams, what with the Jets all-pro safety just going scorched earth on his head coach and general manager: lets not forget this is the same coach he gave a vote of confidence to at the end of the season, after he threw a tantrum because his general manager had the unmitigated gall to answer the phone when teams recognized his talent and wanted to trade for him. We may never know what really happened to lead the Jets to this point, today, where on July 25th they sent their best draft pick since Darrelle Revis packing.

TOJ Sidelines – A Note On Woody Johnson

Dalbin Osorio with thoughts on the recent news around New York Jets Owner Woody Johnson

Hey Mr. Johnson,

You don’t know who I am: we met 5 years ago at the last Jets game I went to, and you were very kind and even took a picture with a friend of mine and I at a tailgate. I’ve contributed a very miniscule amount to the fortune you’ve amassed while being the owner of my favorite American football team. You’ve overseen some of my favorite sports moments, though, and I generally think you have done a decent job. You, also, said we can never have enough Tebow, so you’ve authored some of my least favorite sports moments too.

New York Jets 2020 Opponents – Arizona Cardinals

Michael Meegan breaks down the New York Jets week 5 opponent, the Arizona Cardinals

In 2019 the Arizona Cardinals got bold and replaced first year HC Steve Wilks and 2018 top ten pick Josh Rosen with former college head coach Kliff Kingsbury and Heisman trophy winner Kyler Murray.

While Arizona was deemed dysfunctional for hiring a college coach with a career losing record and going all in on a QB who is shorter than six feet, it turned out to be a masterstroke.  Murray won Offensive Rookie of the Year and Kingsbury with limited personnel helped orchestrate the second best rushing attack in the NFL.  In 2020 Arizona looked poised to build on the momentum built with Kingsbury and Murray in 2019 and looked to be one of the most exciting offenses going forward as they make their way to MetLife in week 5.
