Initial Reaction – One Third Of The Way Home

Joe Caporoso with initial reaction to the New York Jets 0-5

The New York Jets had another Gase Game today.

They did not score a first half touchdown. They were down double digits at halftime. They scored one total touchdown when the game was in question and lost by multiple possessions. They are now 0-5 and one third of the way to a very achievable 0-16 record.

Arizona did not play particularly well today. They had a ton of penalties, particularly drive extending ones for the Jets but it didn’t matter. This game was over nice and early, like just about every other game this season.

Joe Flacco was meh. The defense stunk. Jamison Crowder and Le’Veon Bell showed up today. We got a few laughs out of failed short yardage plays (Trevon Wesco handoffs!). Chris Herndon has the yips. The Jets generally forfeited the game early in the fourth quarter, carry on.

Instead of losing to the Chargers next week, the Jets will be losing to the Dolphins due to a schedule change.
