I won’t just be giving picks for the Jets game this week because 12 predictions for a 4-8 team vs. 3-9 team is too damn depressing. Also, my Jets ATS picks have stunk this year although I plan on finishing strong. So, here is predictions for Jets/Dolphins and a few other notable games in the NFL this weekend mixed in…

– Much like the Jets win over the Cowboys is going to look less impressive when Dallas finishes 7-9, their win over Oakland won’t pop as much when the Raiders finish 7-9, which they will take another step towards Sunday with a loss to the surging Titans. Tennessee will win and cover as 3 point favorites in Oakland. TENNESSEE (-3)

– Some predictions I make can be right and picking the Rams to miss the playoffs will basically be clinched this Sunday night when the Seahawks win as 1 point underdogs in Los Angeles. SEATTLE (+1)

– I rarely pick and/or bet against the Patriots, particularly at home. I am just not sure where the offense comes from to outscore the Chiefs at this moment. The Patriots will keep it together enough to ultimately still be the two seed but they are going to lose their second straight this weekend. KANSAS CITY (+3)

– Jamal Adams will miss his first game as a pro this Sunday and the Jets pass rush and general energy level on defense will pay the price. Ryan Fitzpatrick will throw for at least 235 yards and only be sacked once.

– Le’Veon Bell will receive at least 15 carries on Sunday and catch at least 4 passes. He will score a touchdown. Ty Montgomery will receive his most offensive touches of this season as well.

– Pittsburgh will continue their improbable playoff run by taking care of business in Arizona and winning/covering as 2 point favorites. PITTSBURGH (-2)

– The Bills will go toe to toe with Baltimore but narrowly lose when Lamar Jackson outplays Josh Allen in the 4th quarter. Buffalo covers but loses. BUFFALO (+6).

– ELI will keep the Giants close against the nearly equal garbage Eagles but Philadelphia will win late on a field goal on Monday Night. Giants (+9.5)

– Sam Darnold will throw for 255 yards, 1 touchdown and have 1 interception. Miami will sack him twice. Robby Anderson will catch another touchdown.

– Quinnen Williams will record a half sack, bringing his total to 2 on the season.

– The Colts will have what remains of their playoff hopes squashed when the Bucs win and cover at home. TAMPA (-3)

– The Dolphins will win and cover as 6 point underdogs, pulling their record even with the Jets at 4-9.

Season Record (W/L) 5-7

Season Record (ATS) 4-8
