– The Raiders will lose to Denver, finishing 7-9 and missing the playoffs.
– San Francisco will win and cover against Seattle, locking the Seahawks into the 5 seed.
– The Eagles will sweat one out against the Giants, not covering but narrowly winning to clinch the NFC East. The Cowboys will win and cover against Washington but it won’t matter.
– Despite resting starters, Baltimore will beat Pittsburgh. Greg Roman will be a Head Coach somewhere next year. The Steelers will finish 8-8.
– Tennessee will beat Houston and cover, clinching the six seed and a game at Kansas City Wild Card Weekend.
– New England will handle business against Miami but not cover the spread, finishing 13-3 with the second seed in the AFC.
– Josh Allen won’t play past the first quarter, either will Tre White, Ed Oliver, Devin Singletary, John Brown or Dawson Knox.
– The Jets will fire offensive line coach Frank Pollack shortly after the regular season. It will be the only significant change they make to their coaching staff.
– Robby Anderson will have 60 yards receiving. Jamison Crowder will have 8 receptions for 70 yards. Demaryius Thomas will be inactive.
– Le’Veon Bell will have 15 touches and score a touchdown. Jamal Adams will have a sack and be involved in forcing a turnover.
– Sam Darnold will throw for 195 yards, 1 touchdown and have 1 turnover. He will get sacked twice and rush for 15 yards.
– Sunday is a glorified preseason game, as Buffalo will be rotating in backups on both sides of the football. Jets fans should treat the result accordingly, win or loss. Ultimately, I think the Jets will do enough in a meaningless game for the Bills to squeak out a 20-17 win and likely end up drafting somewhere in the 12-15 range.
Jets (W/L) 6-9
Jets (ATS) 7-8
