12 *hot* takes on the New York Jets heading into the summer. 

1 – The Jets will fire Dowell Loggains at some point during the regular season after a tough 2-3 game stretch of offensive games and promote Jim Bob Cooter to Offensive Coordinator.

2 – Sam Darnold will throw 35 touchdowns this season. Sam Darnold will throw 17 interceptions this season but only lose 1 fumble.

3 – Brian Heimerdinger will leave the Jets organization before next offseason starts.

4 – Both Jamison Crowder and Le’Veon Bell will exceed 70 receptions this season. Bell will rush for over 1,150 yards.

5 – Derrick Jones will play more than 40% of the Jets defensive snaps this season. Tom Compton will play more than 40% of their offensive snaps this season.

6 – The Jets are only going to end up with one of three possible records this year: 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7.

7 – The Jets will switch kickers at least once during the regular season and take a notable step back on special teams overall, falling outside of the top ten in DVOA.

8 – Both Marcus Maye and Quincy Enunwa will play about 75% of the total snaps on their respective sides of the football this season. The Jets will get 16 games out of Jamal Adams, CJ Mosley, Le’Veon Bell, Darnold and Kelvin Beachum.

9 – Jachai Polite will lead the Jets in sacks this season, narrowly missing double digits. Jordan Jenkins will have half as many sacks as he did last year and Leonard Williams will have less than 5 sacks.

10 – Woody Johnson will be back in control of the Jets by the 2021 season. The Jets will continue to play in MetLife Stadium for at least the next 20 years.

11 – Robby Anderson will have 10 or more touchdown receptions and exceed 1,000 yards.

12  – The Jets will break their six game losing streak to New England but also fumble away a game to the Dolphins and split with Buffalo.
