Welcome back to another edition of the Turn On The Jets 12 Pack. Make sure to check out our store at The Loyalist!
– Sam Darnold will throw for 240 yards, 2 touchdowns and have 1 turnover. The Vikings will sack him twice and he will rush for 10 yards. Darnold will complete 62% of his passes and have a YPA of 7.6.
– Kirk Cousins will throw for 315 yards, 3 touchdowns and have 1 turnover. The Jets will sack him once and generally struggle to slow down the Vikings passing attack all afternoon, as they are without 3 of their 5 starters on the back end.
– Adam Thielen will have 110 yards receiving and a touchdown. Stefon Diggs will have 90 yards receiving a touchdown. Rookie Parry Nickerson is going to have a particularly tough game working against the Vikings receivers in the slot. Terrence Brooks will see the majority of work next to Jamal Adams at safety, replacing Marcus Maye.4 – Bilal Powell will have 115 total yards of offense and a touchdown. Isaiah Crowell will have 70 yards rushing and still not look quite 100% from the injury he is battling.
– Minnesota will not do much running the football. Dalvin Cook will either not play or be a non factor and Latavius Murray won’t top 50 yards rushing.
– Jermaine Kearse will lead the Jets in targets and receptions, working primarily from the slot. Robby Anderson will lead the Jets in receiving yards and score his 4th touchdown of the season. Charone Peake and Andre Roberts will each play over 10 reps on offense.
– Leonard Williams will record the Jets only sack of the game and have a strong overall game. Sheldon Richardson will record a sack for the Vikings and pick up a personal foul at some point.8 – Morris Claiborne will grab his third interception of the season. Harrison Smith will be involved in forcing a Darnold turnover. Jamal Adams will have 7 tackles, 1 TFL and 1 near interception.
– Chris Herndon and Neal Sterling will receive extended reps and targets in the passing game. Both players will have at least 3 receptions on Sunday.
– The Jets will run a trick play on offense or special teams in the first half. Jason Myers will be 100% on his kicks for the second week in a row.
– The Jets inactive list: Quincy Enunwa, Marcus Maye, Foley Fatukasi, Buster Skrine, Derrick Jones, Trumaine Johnson, Terrelle Pryor
– Considering the state of their roster, the Jets will be competitive on Sunday but still lose to the Minnesota Vikings who will cover with a 30-24 victory. They will hang around in the second half but simply not have enough to slow down the Vikings offense.
