The Jets were trying to put consecutive wins together for the first time since week 5 of last season. Both teams came into the game with a bunch of injury concerns that could affect the end result of the game. Could the Jets get it done at MetLife? #JetsTwitter takes us through it.

1st Half

Colts got the ball to start the game and it didn’t long for things to get crazy…

The Colts answered back immediately, however, marching down the field and scoring on touchdown pass from Andrew Luck to Marcus Johnson to tie it up at 7.

Sad ting…

On the Jets first drive of the game, the following series, they had a splash play but in the end settled for a field goal to go up 10-7.

The Jets forced a punt on the next drive and got the ball back looking to extend their lead. However…

Sad in french…

After the interception the Jets defense was able to keep the Colts out of the endzone and hold them to field goal to tie it up at 10. On the next Jets drive…

The Colts had a short field but once again the Jets defense kept them out of the endzone. They settled for another field goal to go up 13-10.
The Jets punted on their next drive and the Colts looked to put more points on the board. But…

Then on the ensuing Jets drive…

Deal with it, Bob.

Darnold to Pryor like…

After the Jets took back the lead, the defense got back into their groove…

He has been…but I’ll overlook this!

The answer: No they punted. But then in the final series of Sam Darnold to finish the first half…

2nd Half

Jets got the ball to start the second half and wasted no time…

On the next Colts drive, Marlon Mack ran all over the Jets and the Colts scored on a Luck touchdown pass to Eric Ebron to climb closer at 30-20.

Then the Jason Myers show started for the Jets

Then a long touchdown drive from Andrew Luck and the Colts offense ending with a 2 yard touchdown to Erik Swoope to make it 33-27.

After the Jets defense forced a turnover on downs…

The Jets went on to win 42-34 after a garbage time TD from the Colts. They improved their record to 3-3 and Jets fans were feeling good after the final whistle.
