TOJ Tweet Summary 2018, Week 4 – Jets vs. Jaguars

Daniel Essien recaps the Jets week 4 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with #JetsTwitter

The New York Jets flew into Jacksonville hoping to at least regain some of their week 1 confidence. Unfortunately, this Jaguars team is a much more confident team than the one they faced week 4 in 2017. So did the Jets surpass expectations again? Well…I’ll let #JetsTwtiter tell the story.

1st Half

The Jets’ offense got the ball on the first possession of the game and didn’t do much. On the Jaguars first drive, Blake Bortles looked like he did in week 2 against the Patriots.  He led a nearly 9 minute, 15 play, 80 yard drive that somehow only ended with a field goal.

Exac– wait hold on…Bortles is what??

After a Jets three and out, the Jaguars again controlled the ball and marched down the field. This time it was a 7 minutes, 12 play, 73 yard drive…that also ended in a field goal.

Jets looked like they might have got something going on offense but…

Then of course on the following Jaguars drive…

Jets offense drove to midfield on the subsequent drive, but turned it over on downs. Then the Jaguars drove, again, and added a field goal before the end of the half.

2nd Half

Jaguars punted on their first drive of the second half but they got a perfect punt that put the Jets offense at their own 2 yard line. Now…think about it…best defense in the NFL + Jets horrible offensive line = ?? You guessed it!

Can’t believe we’re here already but…CUE THE SADNESS WATERFALL!
