Jets were able to keep the Patriots out of the endzone one more time but couldn’t get anything going on offense. So of course, with 5 minutes left in the first half, the Patriots were able to score making it 14-7 but it was aided by an interesting DPI call against Jamal Adams…

Jets got the ball back with the perfect opportunity to respond on offense and draw a line in the sand before halftime…they went three and out. Patriots got the ball back with a chance to tie and…

Okay for real this time! Jets got the ball back with the perfect opportunity to extend the lead on offense and draw a line in the sand before halftime…they went three and out again. The Patriots then drove into Jets territory and attempted a 47-yard field goal…

2nd Half

Patriots got the ball to start the second half and looked like they were ready to take the game over.

Jets offense came back strong with a nice drive but it stalled in Patriots territory. They decided to go for it on 4th down at New England’s 34-yard-line…

Patriots went on another long drive but the Jets defense stood strong in the end, holding them to a field to make it 24-14. Then on the ensuing Jets drive…

The Jets defense then took over. They stopped the Patriots on the next drive and then after the Jets added a field goal to make it 24-17 and draw within a score, the Jets defense stopped New England AGAIN to give the offense a shot to send the game into overtime.

I wanted be as confident as Will one day…but yeah, we all know what happened…

Post Game

It wasn’t really sadness on #JetsTwitter this week. It was anger. Which is good! That means we’re pretty much all invested at this point whether we promised ourselves we wouldn’t be or not.

Y’all really hate Joe Girardi that much? Sheesh…
