Strengths: Estime is an experienced and dynamic returner who’s comfortable on kick and punt return. He led the ACC in yards per punt return in 2015 and 2016. He doesn’t have world class speed but he’s fast enough to break away. He has good vision on returns, and is adept at accelerating through tight spaces. Estime is also stronger than he looks and is capable of breaking tackles. He increased his role at receiver his senior year, going from 17 catches junior year to 48 catches in his final season.

Weaknesses: Estime is still fairly raw at wide receiver despite the increase in his production on offense in 2016. May find difficulty carving out a role apart from special teams. Didn’t test as well as what is seen on tape in terms of agility.

Final Words: The Jets might have found a return specialist in Brisly Estime. That alone would be a significant win based on their recent failures on kick and punt return the last few years. Estime’s path to a spot on the roster is to show he can be trusted as a returner. Beyond that, its unlikely Estime will get the chance to make much of an impact on offense.
