Your New York Jets links for the day. Enjoy your Sunday and remember to tune into our Podcast at 7:30 tonight right here

- For the first time in a couple of seasons, quarterback is not Rex Ryan’s main concern. This year, he is concerned about a position that has been perennially consistent since he first took control of the team – cornerback. (NYDN)

- There is only one CB that shouldn’t be an issue for Rex, and that CB is Dee Milliner. He has talked a big game in the offseason, calling himself “the best corner in the game,” be he backed up that bravado with a strong showing against the Colts. (RS)

- In the preseason, you need to be careful and make sure you don’t overreact to things. From the Jets first preseason game, what is truth, and what is overreaction? (OJT)

- The defense didn’t come out strong against the Colts. The Colts moved the ball with ease on their first drive, and if not for a snap over the head of Andrew Luck, the first drive may have resulted in six points as opposed to three. After that first drive, the defense seemed to settle down, and they played a lot better. (NYJ)

- Here are some more thoughts from the preseason opener. (ESPN)

- It seems almost certain that Geno Smith will be the starter come opening day, but that doesn’t mean Michael Vick won’t see the field. Rex Ryan hinted yesterday as to how he might be used. (BH)

- Don’t expect to see Mike Tannenbaum on NFL Network anymore, as he was hired as a consultant by the Dolphins — maybe Tebow will get another shot in the league after all. (FOX)

- Here is a clip from Rex Ryan’s, actually Rich Cimini’s, press conference yesterday. Watch and you’ll understand what I’m saying. (NJ)
