Turn On The Jets 12 Pack, Week 15 Edition

The Turn On The Jets 12 pack with predictions for Jets vs Panthers

I normally get a little long winded to kick off the 12 Pack. However, I’m going to switch it up this week. Check out my match-up thoughts on Jets/Panthers, the Geno Smith reel, and our weekly Roundtable.

Then come on back later for my thoughts on “Collision Low Crossers” by Nicholas Dawidoff. A must read for any Jets fan.

To the predictions….

1. Jeremy Kerley will lead the Jets in receptions and receiving yards.

2. Kellen Winslow Jr will catch his third touchdown of the season.

3. Chris Ivory will finish with 55-65 yards rushing.

4. Cam Newton will throw for 220 yards, rush for 40 yards, throw one touchdown, run for one touchdown and have one turnover, along with be sacked twice.

5. Ted Ginn Jr will hurt the Jets with a big play in the passing game.

6. Steve Smith will finish with 5 receptions for 70 yards.

7. Nick Folk will go 2/2 on field goals.

8. Santonio Holmes will have 3 receptions for 35 yards.

9. DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert will combine for less than 50 yards rushing.

10. Dee Milliner will have a solid all-around game.

11. Geno. Geno. Geno. Let’s give him 200 yards of total offense. A passing touchdown and one turnover.

12. The Jets will cover but lose, in a relatively hard fought 23-13 game.

12 Pack Record – Against The Spread (7-6), W/L (5-8)

cant we even fantasize the Jets will win??, only way they have a chance is to duplicate Saints game from last Sunday, and I dont think Geno needs to be Brees though, just be competitive and no turnovers, and we have a punchers chance,,,

These guys are on a campaign to see Rex fired now so they would like to see the jets lose. They want their confused rookie QB to have to learn a new offense next year and give up the only strength the team has, its defense.

New coach and the next 2-3 years will be losing seasons as the new HC has to bring in all new players to fit his scheme. Young nucleus on the team right now with a bright future. Great time to just scrap everything and start over. That way the Jets can be mediocre for the next decade as they go thru new coaches every 2-4 years.
I havent seen an article that shows viable head coach replacements for Ryan.

I am not 100% sold on Rex being brought back, nor I am 100% sold on firing him. It is silly how people act like Rex is irreplaceable though, when the Jets are 12-20 in their last 32 games and are 1-11 coming off a win in their past 12 games. He has been here 5 seasons, not 2.

If you can dream of Miliner having a solid all-around game you should be able to dream of a victory.
