I will keep this quick because I am trying to enjoy the rest of this night:

1. How you like us now?

2. Great game by our offensive rookies, the future is looking pretty bright on that side of the ball with Shonn Greene (135 yards, 1 touchdown) and of course Mark Sanchez (12/15, 182 yards, 1 touchdown).

3. Weak game by our rush defense obviously but the pass defense was outstanding, highlighted by Darrelle Revis aka the Defensive Player of the Year, grabbing an acrobatic interception and shutting down Chad Ochocinco.

4. MVP? Dustin Keller who had a key block on the Greene touchdown, 99 yards receiving and a touchdown…and also obviously Revis.

5. Carson Palmer…completely outplayed by Mark Sanchez in his home stadium.

6. One more time…rookie coach, rookie quarterback, no Kris Jenkins, no Leon Washington…second round of the playoffs.

7. I want San Diego in round 2.

  1. Me, too, Joe – and I want Baltimore to win tomorrow.

Wouldn’t it be a pisser if by some chance, Baltimore & we win out, then meet in the swamp for the conference championship game? At that point, if Mara doesn’t just up and spend the 40K or so it would take to remove that Giants Stadium banner and replace it with JETS STADIUM – even if for only one game – it would be the completely classy thing to do.

    But a man – especially a Jets fan – can dream… or what’s a Heaven for?

    Go Ravens!

  2. T I M,

it has been a hell of a run so far, let’s hope we can keep it going this weekend. I just paid for my afc championship tickets…hopefully not a jinx.

  3. Hey, Mon…

am scrounging up the scratch should the blessed opportunity arise, and there is yet one more game to be played at the swamp. Stubhub’s running at 400 bucks & up.

If this happens, I would love to see the Maras change that big blue Giants Stadium board on the house to a shiny Green and White JETS STADIUM. That would be a great, classy move from a traditionally classy family.

Imagine how the players would feel? Or we, the fans, who’ve for so many years chafed under the fact of playing as 2nd tenant in our own home games? I know we’re moving into a shared house next year, but this would really make it a shared house.

Can’t wait till Saturday to hope for a Ravens upset of the Colts… then it’s on to our JETS!!!!
